Waste tonnage projections

We have recently reviewed the waste tonnage projections for north London to ensure that the best information is used for the North London Heat and Power Project. The updated projections take account of the most recent actual waste tonnages which are available in the North London Joint Waste Strategy Annual Monitoring Report.

The Eunomia waste data report and Waste Forecast Model - is a technical report summarising the methodology and results of our most recent waste forecasting modelling to identify future waste management requirements. It includes a technical spreadsheet model.

Waste composition analysis

We undertook a generic composition study of residual waste in north London in 2016. This work involved sampling waste from a representative sample of households within each borough, ensuring that the samples came from an appropriate diversity of socio-economic groups.
