What is the NLWA?

The NLWA is a waste disposal authority that arranges the disposal of waste collected in the seven boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest.

What does the NLWA do?

The NLWA arranges the transport and disposal of waste collected by the seven north London boroughs.

Is NLWA the same as LondonWaste Ltd?

Waste disposal services are delivered through a contract with LondonWaste Ltd - a company which is wholly owned by the NLWA.

LondonWaste Ltd currently provides the municipal waste disposal service for the municipal waste generated in seven north London boroughs.
