The identification codes show which type of material was used to make a product. That means it doesn’t necessarily indicate a product’s recyclability. ABS is a hard plastic used to make things like toys, phones, TVs or computer keyboard keys. Most hard plastics can be taken to two of north London's reuse and recycling centres where we collect them for recycling (see below).
