The minutes should be read in conjunction with the agenda for the meeting. 7th February 2007 - MEMBERS QUESTIONSThis report informs the Authority of the NLWA Members’ Questions process and any questions that have been provided for the meeting.
- REVENUE BUDGET AND LEVY 2007/08This report indicates that following a fourth review of the 2006/07 budget the Authority is currently estimated to have a revenue surplus of £4.808m at 31 March 2007.

- THIRD PARTY RE-USE AND RECYCLING CREDIT REGISTRATIONSThis report advises Members of the third party organisations that have applied to be registered for third party re-use and recycling credits for 2007/08 and makes recommendations for this.
- NLWA REPRESENTATION AT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF LONDONWASTE LIMITEDThis report asks members to nominate a representative to vote on behalf of the Authority at the Annual General Meeting of LondonWaste Limited which is usually held in April.
- TOWARDS THE MAYOR’S HOUSING STRATEGY CONSULTATIONThis brief report provides Members with the principal relevant details of a consultation document issued by the Mayor of London. The results of the consultation will feed into the development of the Mayor of London’s forthcoming Housing Strategy.
- A CONSULTATION ON CONTROLS ON THE HANDLING, TRANSFER AND TRANSPORT OF WASTEThis report provides details of a DEFRA consultation on proposals to revise the controls on the handling, transfer and transport of waste and outlines a draft response to the consultation.
- HENDON RELOCATION UPDATEThis report advises Members of the current dialogue with Cricklewood Redevelopments Limited, the developers wishing to develop the Cricklewood and Brent Cross area including the relocation of the Authority’s Hendon Rail Transfer Station.
- REVISED DRAFT MINOR ALTERATION TO THE LONDON PLANThis report provides details of a REVISED draft Minor Alteration to the London Plan on borough level waste apportionment. Specifically it includes a table showing how much municipal solid waste and commercial/industrial waste needs to be managed in London between 2010 and 2020 and assigns these amounts to individual boroughs.
- WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT UPDATEThis report updates members on progress on the implementation of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive into UK legislation and the timetable and implications of the same.
