This report informs the Authority of the NLWA Members Questions process and any questions that have been provided for the meeting.
- RECYCLING COLLECTION SYSTEMS - Appendix 1 - Appendix 2This report provides a summary of some of the considerations regarding recycling collection systems, the pros and cons of using source separated or commingled collections. It is produced as an aid to be read alongside the presentation by the Campaign for Real Recycling being given at the above meeting.
- MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDINGThis report details the final version of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Authority and the Boroughs relating to the procurement process, for Members comment and approval.
- JOINT WASTE STRATEGY UPDATE - Appendix 1This report updates members on progress made with implementing the North London Joint Waste Strategy (NLJWS) since the last Authority meeting on 6th February 2008. The report includes progress made with carrying out a strategic environmental assessment of the NLJWS and proposed changes to the strategy resulting; provides a summary of a report on greenhouse gas emissions from different waste management approaches produced by the London Mayor and provides proposals for site acquisition procedures resulting from the approval at the February Authority meeting of a 12 million capital programme
- NORTH LONDON COMMUNICATIONS PROJECTThis report updates members on the outputs of a communication project, funded by the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) and led by the Authority which came to an end on 31st March 2008.
- LEGISLATION UPDATEThis report advises Members of recent Government guidance on the types of waste that may be treated at public expense; the Governments most recent thinking on the definition of municipal waste (relevant to LATS); and the basis of the new National Indicators.

- JOINT WASTE AUTHORITY CONSULTATIONThis report advises Members of an ongoing Government consultation on the formation of Joint Waste Authorities, and includes a draft response for Members to consider
- BEST VALUE PERFORMANCE PLAN 2008The Authority is required to publish a Best Value Performance Plan by 30th June every year. Members are recommended to comment on and approve the attached Draft Best Value Performance Report so that it can be published on time.
- BEST VALUE PERFORMANCE PLAN 2008 - Appendix 2Auditors report to North London Waste Authority on its 2007/08 best value performance plan.
- APPOINTMENT OF A DIRECTORSThis report updates Members on proposals for the appointment of a Directors of LondonWaste Ltd and seeks agreement to changing the basis upon which they are to be appointed for next year. In addition it seeks agreement to some minor changes in Standing Orders which assist in clarifying the basis upon which they can be appointed.

- CHANGE TO STANDING ORDERSThis report seeks to minimise the time in which no formal meetings of the Authority can be held, immediatly prior to the Annual General Meeting, by proposing an alteration to the months in which it may be held
