North London Community Fund

The funding application period for 2023 has now closed and you can read about our  grant-winners in this news piece.

NLWA has established the North London Community Fund to support waste prevention initiatives in the north London area. This fund provides community-based (non-profit making) organisations with funding to develop new approaches to reduce waste and/or extend the reach and impact of existing waste prevention activity in north London.

With up to 100% funding of the project cost, support will be provided for projects up to £15,000 tackling a waste prevention problem, from an overall funding pot of £250,000.

The fund has previously been used for a wide range of waste prevention projects in north London and below are just some examples of that work in action.
