Preparing for your visit at EcoPark House

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to EcoPark House.

To help your visit run smoothly, please read the guidance below before you arrive.

Once your visit is booked, you will receive a confirmation email with key details, including your visit time, group size and your key contact for the day.

Please ensure that:

  • You review your booking details in advance
  • You share relevant information with accompanying staff
  • You share the full names of adults attending two days prior to your visit

To support your risk assessment planning, we offer pre‑trip visits for trip leads most Thursdays between 3pm and 5pm.

These visits are an opportunity to have your questions answered ahead of your trip.

During the visit, an NLWA officer will walk you through the workshop space and tour route, so you know exactly what to expect on the day.

To book, simply indicate that you would like a risk assessment visit when completing your booking form.

We can provide a social story, tour familiarisation video, and sensory map for students who may benefit from knowing more about what a visit will consist of.

Please notify the team if you would like the pre-visit resources on the booking form or by emailing Education@NLWA.gov.uk

All visitors are required to sign in at the security hut.

From there, the security team will direct you to EcoPark House where your session lead will meet you.

If you are running late, please contact your session lead as soon as possible. Their contact details will be shared two-weeks prior to your visit.

If you still have a question about preparing for your visit, please email the team at Education@NLWA.gov.uk
