Join Hubbub for a frighteningly fun afternoon in the adventure-filled Islington Ecology Centre. They've got a jam-packed plan to get hands sticky, mucky and busy this halloween!
What’s Happening?
🎃 no-carve pumpkin decoration - decorate a pumpkin ready for trick or treating: wings, horms, halos, googly eyes, and most of all no knives needed!
🪱 wriggly worm expo - get gross and up close with the creatures that help break down rotting things and keep our soils healthy
🪲 witches broom bug shelters - you don't need a full bug hotel to keep creepy crawlies safe, make these 'witches brooms' to hide in hedges or dry spots to make great bug shelters
🌱 seed-bomb making - mix together soil, clay and seeds and you've got a time bomb that will explode in flowers and grasses next spring to help biodiverse ecosystems thrive
🧙 halloween costume swap - bring along an old halloween or book day costume for the swap - you might pick up something new too!
🧁 We’ll have a limited about of veggie snacks and drinks on site
This event is for families, children must be accompanied by an adult. 🎟️ It's free to attend and explore the park too. Please get the 'add on' for the pumpkin session if you would like to decorate one so we know how many to provide.
