Learn the art of cyanotype, aka sun printing, and make your own botanical blue print!
Cyanotype printing is an early photographic method, often associated with botanical subjects. Prints are made by laying flowers, leaves or other objects on the photosensitive paper and exposing it to light.
In this workshop you'll learn how to make and develop your own nature-based sun-powered prints. We will forage for flowers and plants from our surroundings to make the designs, or you can bring found materials of flowers or leaves too.
This event is supported by and part of research by the North London Waste Authority and the University of Derby. This event is organised Hubbub (registered charity 1158700 ) and artist and facilitator Joana Esgalhado. Joana is a community green space maker and facilitator based in London.
