The textile industry is one of the most polluting and wasteful industries on earth. In the United Kingdom alone, more than 206.456 tonnes of textile waste are produced each year and only the 25% are either reused or recycled.
On Monday 10 August, we will be hosting a live Q&A session on Facebook as part of our new campaign called My Wardrobe, My Way.
The campaign, which will start on the 3 August and will run until the 28th August, is part of our activities to reduce textile waste in north London. We’ve got a dedicated webpage on our NLWA website so do have a look at that for lots of tips on how to take the challenge of slimming down your wardrobe to create a really focused collection of clothes and accessories.
