Who are Fashion for Future?
Fashion for Future is a community-led clothing exchange and creative hub tackling overconsumption and textile waste. FFF's mission is to tackle textile waste globally while alleviating poverty locally. FFF received funding through the North London Community Fund to deliver creative textile upcycling sessions to transform your fabrics.
What is the event?
A free workshop teaching simple clothing alteration skills to help make existing clothes fit better. Participants will learn techniques such as adjusting hems, taking garments in and reshaping clothing for a better fit.
No sewing experience is needed; just bring an item from your wardrobe that could use a little alteration.
