Who are Islington Climate Centre?
The Islington Climate Centre is a volunteer‑led, community hub and solution‑oriented education centre based in Islington. Islington Climate Centre's mission is to engage, inform, and connect people in Islington and beyond to accelerate the transition to a regenerative, sustainable future. Islington Climate Centre received funding through the North London Community Fund to deliver free clothing & electronics repair events.
What is the event?
The Islington Fixers will help you fix your broken electricals and clothing to save them from waste. The focus of the event will be skill-sharing, where participants with broken items take an active role in their repair.
When: Saturday 12th of September - from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
