Who are Sewn Together?
Sewn Together bring together Haringey residents who are facing loneliness and isolation, using creative topics as a tool to improve overall health & wellbeing. Sewn Together received funding through the North London Community Fund to deliver a hands-on creative programme with workshop, seminars, pop-ups and a community summit. Women & Girls Leading the Reuse Revolution is a waste prevention programme empowering women and girls to reduce waste through sustainable menstrual products, textile reuse, and innovative plastic braid recycling.
What is the event?
Sewn Together are delighted to bring together women, families, community leaders, professionals and volunteers for a day dedicated to wellbeing, growth, sustainability and connection.
Over the past six months, the Women & Girls Leading the Reuse Revolution programme has empowered women and girls to develop new skills, embrace sustainable practices, strengthen wellbeing and build confidence as change-makers within their communities. The summit is an opportunity to celebrate these achievements, share knowledge, learn from one another and reflect on the journeys that shape our lives and communities.
