Kilburn Repair Club

Kilburn Repair Club, a community repair organisation that delivers regular repair events for residents in Camden, received funding to establish and expand its waste prevention activities in Kilburn. Aiming to reduce electrical and textile waste through repair, reuse and skills development, the project delivered a programme of repair cafés, textile upcycling workshops and a specialised Restart Party focused on electrical repairs. Over the course of the year, the club held 17 community repair events and two dedicated textile workshops, while the Restart Party successfully repaired 17 items. The project also generated 118 volunteer hours and helped divert an estimated 292kg of CO₂ emissions, demonstrating the environmental and community benefits of repair and reuse.
