Bring waste and the circular economy to life with a free hands‑on educational visit to EcoPark House. Our expert-led workshops are fully linked to the National Curriculum and can be tailored to suit the needs of your group.
What is included in your visit?
We offer half‑day or full‑day visits, which include a tour of the Resource Recovery Facility where students can go behind the scenes to observe how waste is prepared to be turned into electricity, as well as see the public recycling and reuse centre from a new perspective.
For full day visits, you can book onto one of our afternoon workshops.
Join our Beyond the Bin workshop to uncover the journey of your rubbish and recycling. Through interactive activities, students will explore how waste is managed, why recycling matters, and what we can all do to reduce the amount we throw away.
The workshop wraps up with an eye-opening tour, giving students a first-hand look at what happens beyond the bin.

Students will discover how everyday waste can be transformed into something useful and unique.
They’ll explore the power of reuse by working with materials that might otherwise be thrown away — and turn them into something brand new.
By the end of the session, each student will have crafted either a bird feeder or a tote bag, and gained a fresh perspective on how to see value in the things we often discard.
