In this activity children will use recycled bottle caps to create colourful images of nature. The activity aims to expose students to the idea that we can use and reuse natural materials in our everyday life, instead of depending on new materials.

Document

In this activity students will watch a short video of how food dye and water paints can be made from natural materials such as avocado skins, red cabbage, and tea bags. They will then get paint with water paints made from food waste. This activity aims to expose students to the idea that we can use and reuse natural materials in our everyday life.

Document

In this activity students will get to experiment with the concept of upcycling old clothes, and how a piece of clothing you no longer want to can be transformed into something new and exciting.  Children will get to decorate and recreate plain t shirts, trousers and other clothing, using velcro decorations that can be removed and used over and over again.

Document

This activity is much like a reused materials construction station, but the twist is everything built here is made to be deconstructed and reconstructed into something brand new. It aims to expose students to the idea of reusing and repurposing materials, and keeping materials in the circular economy for as long as possible.
