Patch and Repurpose: Community Craft Day 27/09/2025

Who are Patch and Repurpose?

Patch and Repurpose hosts workshops at the Fore Street Library teaching sewing and mending skills to help reduce textile waste. Residents of Edmonton Angel Community Together (REACT) and Forest Recycling Project (FRP) have been jointly awarded funding by the North London Community Fund to deliver this programme of events in Enfield and Waltham Forest. 

 

What is the event?

This free community event will have crafting activities, a sewing and mending activity (for adult participants only) as well as a yarn and thread amnesty encouraging residents to donate spare wool and threads for community projects. There will also be the chance to sign up to activities taking place in the library during Autumn. 

When: 11am-3pm Saturday 27 September 2025
