Who are Play It Again Toys?
Play It Again Toys run repair workshops, encouraging families to give a second life to their broken toys by fixing or modifying them. They have been funded by the North London Community Fund to deliver further workshops at locations across north London.
What is the event?
NLWA family days this summer are ideal for families with children aged 7 and up, and feature a range of interactive, sustainability-themed activities, including:
- Toy repairs by Play It Again!
- A Wood shop of Recycled Delights session
- Tin can bug hotel making
- 'Learn how to fix your bike' workshop with London Cycling Club
- Resource Recovery Facility tours
