Who are South Hampstead and Kilburn Community Partnership (SHAK)? 

SHAK is a resident led charity based on the Alexandra and Ainsworth estate in the Kilburn Ward of Camden, dedicated to supporting residents and young people living in an area of high deprivation. SHAK received funding through the North London Community Fund to deliver workshops to provide residents with the skills to upcycle textiles and connect with others in their community.

What is the event?

The workshop is part of a series were residents can learn sewing and mending techniques or develop the skills to transform clothing into something new and stylish. 

When: Thursday 10th July, 14:00pm until 16:00pm
