Who are Islington Climate Centre?
The Community Worlds (UK) Ltd has been founded to support poor families with young children, hard-to-reach groups, older people and those with a language barrier who are suffering from loneliness, social isolation and depression. The organisation aims to enhance educational development, social integration and emotional wellbeing of our disadvantaged migrant beneficiaries. The Community Worlds received funding through the North London Community Fund to deliver free clothing & electronics repair events.
What is the event?
Sew It. Reuse It. Love It! is a sustainable textile upcycling workshop designed to help participants give old textiles a new life. This creative and practical event encourages people to reduce waste, learn useful sewing skills, and make something meaningful with their own hands.
