Who are Islington Climate Centre?
The Islington Climate Centre is a volunteer‑led, community hub and solution‑oriented education centre based in Islington. Islington Climate Centre's mission is to engage, inform, and connect people in Islington and beyond to accelerate the transition to a regenerative, sustainable future. Islington Climate Centre received funding through the North London Community Fund to deliver free clothing & electronics repair events.
What is the event?
Come to Islington Fixer's Repair Party at Islington Sustainability Fair - stalls on energy advice & retrofit, repair, crafts, food & more. The Islington Fixers will help you fix your broken electricals and clothing to save them from waste. The focus of the event will be skill-sharing, where participants with broken items take an active role in their repair.
