The Site Allocations DPD allocates sufficient sites to accommodate the identified development needs in the borough. It specifically identifies strategic sites which will make a significant contribution to meeting the growth plans set out in the Local Plan Strategic Policies. Once adopted the Site Allocations DPD will enable LB Haringey to determine planning applications and make interventions on sites in line with the allocations.
At the pre-submission stage of the Site Allocations DPD development the consultation was primarily concerned with the soundness of the DPD i.e. is the DPD positively prepared, justified, effective and consistent with national planning policy. Please see below:
