Under the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 the Government is required to review the Waste Management Plan every six years.
This consultation sought views on whether the draft Plan, when combined with waste planning policy, would fulfil the obligations of the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011, as far as England is concerned. The Plan is a compilation of existing waste management policies and does not introduce new waste management measures.
