Thank you for your inquiry about Cllr Dogan’s attendance at NLWA meetings.
…..Cllr Dogan was appointed to the Authority in June 2018. In 2018-2019 the Authority had two committees (Audit Committee and Urgency Committee). In 2019-20 there are three committees (Audit, Urgency and Programme Committee). For clarity I thought it would therefore be most useful to give you the information by meeting/committee and date.
Since Cllr Dogan’s appointment there have been 7 Authority meetings. Cllr Dogan has attended 3 of those meetings (21 June 2018, 4 October 2018 and 4 April 2019). He has sent apologies on 4 occasions (6 December 2018, 7 February 2019, 21 June 2019 and 3 October 2019).
Cllr Dogan has been a Member of the Audit Committee since his appointment. That has met twice. Cllr Dogan attended the Audit Committee meeting on 25 July 2019. He sent apologies to the Audit Committee on 26 July 2018.
The Programme Committee first met in June 2019. Cllr Dogan is a Member of this Committee, which has met twice. Cllr Dogan attended both meetings - on 3 June 2019 and 22 July 2019.
Cllr Dogan is also a Member of the Urgency Committee. This has not met since his appointment.
