Request
What communication has North London Waste Authority had with Camden Film Quarter and Yoo Capital about the resiting of Regis Road Recycling Centre with particular reference to access for all trucks that visit the site?
Response
The North London Waste Authority (the “Authority”) has had initial discussions about the conceptual site designs and relocation of the Regis Road Recycling Centre. Those conversations are still ongoing and nothing has been finalised about truck access to the site.
We continue to engage with the developer (Yoo Capital), as part of these early-stage discussions and will provide input where appropriate, particularly in relation to transport and access considerations, once more detailed proposals are brought forward.
Should you wish to track the progress of the development, we recommend monitoring the relevant planning authority’s portal for updates once the application is formally submitted.
If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you may ask for an internal review, which should be submitted within two months of when you received our response to either informationrequests@nlwa.gov.uk or enquiry form quoting the above reference.
If you are not content with the outcome of the review, you may complain to the Information Commissioner, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, or via their online portal. The Information Commissioner will not usually accept complaints before a review has been completed.
