In a Fix

Do you have something broken at home? Mending it might not be as hard as you think. It also saves you money and is good for the environment because it means we don’t have to buy new things. We are running the ‘In a Fix’ campaign to encourage people to give repair a try, and let us know how they get on by sharing before/after photos on Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag #repairshare. You can tag us as well using @WiseUpToWaste.

Repair Cafés

Repair Cafés were free events delivered across north London to help residents fix and improve items, such as clothes and bicycles. Repair specialists were on hand to fix items and support participants to successfully carry out their own repairs.

Furniture

There are numerous ways to donate, sell, find or buy second-hand items such as furniture or white goods in north London, which could really make a difference to someone else’s quality of life as well as reducing the amount of furniture that goes to waste every year.
