1) Electrical appliances are recycled when collected from households or after being deposited at our reuse and recycling centres  
2) All electrical items are processed in the UK. The electrical appliances are dismantled and separated into component parts such as metal and plastic for recycling. 
3) They are reprocessed by a contractor.

4) If re-sold, are the items checked for a) electrical hazards and / or b) if they are recalled electrical products prior to their sale? If so, who undertakes this task? Not applicable
