I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding the proposed relocation and design of the Regis Road Reuse and Recycling Centre (RRC), which is being brought forward as part of the Camden Film Quarter development.
Specifically, this request concerns the formal planning consultation response submitted by the North London Waste Authority (NLWA) on around 5 December 2025. That response, authored by Michael Clarke (Head of Strategy and Services), raised specific operational and design concerns about the proposed RRC facility, including issues related to noise, odour, traffic management, and the facility being located beneath residential accommodation.
Please provide the following information:
Correspondence and Updates: Any recorded information, emails, letters, meeting minutes, or notes of discussions between the NLWA, the London Borough of Camden, Yoo Capital, or their consultants from 5 December 2025 to the present date, regarding solutions, revisions, or mitigations proposed to resolve the specific concerns raised in Mr Clarke's 5 December 2025 letter.
Technical Reports: Copies of any revised site designs, swept-path analyses, traffic management plans, or impact assessments received by the NLWA since 5 December 2025 intended to address the operational viability, resident impact, or vehicle access issues highlighted in that response.
Current Status: Any internal NLWA assessments, memos, or sign-offs indicating whether the NLWA now considers the design concerns raised on 5 December 2025 to be successfully resolved, partially resolved, or outstanding.
