Make Up

Foundation bottles (including plastic jars, tins etc) can be put in your household recycling if emptied and rinsed out.

Eye shadow and other powder pans made from paper and metal that are completely empty of powder can also go in your household recycling bin.

Other types of make up packaging like plastic palettes, lip product tubes and mascara bottles can be taken to a Superdrug store (opens in a new window) or a Terracycle (opens in new window) drop off points for recycling.

Used-up make up brushes should go in the general waste bin.
