Nail varnish bottles
Nail varnish contains chemicals which can harm our environment. It is therefore classed as 'hazardous' waste and should be disposed of carefully. If you have nail varnish which could still be used, consider donating it to someone who could still use it. Alternatively, pour the varnish out onto some old newspaper and let it dry (out of the reach of children or animals). You should also leave the bottle open so that it can dry out. It can then be placed into the general waste. If you have a large quantity of nail varnish, you should consider arranging a special collection of hazardous waste. You will need to use the free City of London Hazardous waste service. See their website for more information.
