Silica gel packets

Silica gel packets are not recyclable and have to go in the rubbish bin. However, it can be good to reuse them. Here are some options:

• Keep electrical items like a camera or laptop dry - just put them in the bag or case to prevent moisture damage.
• Store them with important papers, photos, or documents to keep them dry and free from mould.
• Put one beside your reusable razor to prevent rust.
• Keep them in your toolbox to stop tools from rusting.
• If your phone gets wet, place it in a bag with silica gel packets to help absorb the moisture.
• Prevent silver from getting tarnished by storing together.
• Put a few packets with your seasonal clothes (if you store they away) to prevent mustiness.
