Here you’ll find a range of engaging resources designed specifically for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) learners. To help you explore the content easily, we’ve organised materials into three key topics: Using Things Again, Sorting Materials & Recycling and Caring for Our Environment. Each topic introduces age appropriate ideas that begin to build children’s understanding of the circular economy through play, and exploration.
Within each topic, you’ll find a selection of educational videos, books and teacher notes, and lessons and activities to support practical, hands on learning. All resources are clearly linked to the EYFS Framework.
Through these activities, children are encouraged to explore how materials can be reused, how to sort items for recycling, and why it’s important to look after the world around them. The resources promote curiosity, discussion and early environmental responsibility, helping young learners take their first steps towards understanding how we can reduce waste and care for our planet.
